Hi, I'm Abbey βnice to meet you
Accredited Practising Dietitian, Health Coach & HTMA Practitioner. I work with women who are doing everything right and still not feeling it β and I help them figure out why.
I landed in women's health the hard way.
I've wanted to work in health for as long as I can remember. I studied dietetics for five years, and somewhere in the middle of that, my own health started throwing curveballs. I had the kind of appointments that ended with "your results look fine." Spoiler: I did not feel fine.
That experience, frustrating as it was, quietly shaped everything. Because I kept hearing the same thing from women around me. Friends describing symptoms they'd been brushing off for years. Women doing all the right things and still exhausted, still bloated, still not quite themselves.
There's a significant gap in how women's health has historically been researched and treated. I find that genuinely unacceptable. It's a big part of why I do what I do.
So now I work with women who are health-conscious, who have often done a lot of their own research, who are already trying hard and still not seeing the results they should be. I look at the full picture. Not just what you're eating, but what your body's actually doing with it.
Work with meTrained, qualified, and then some
Five years of dietetic training, plus extra qualifications in areas that genuinely move the needle for my clients. Evidence-based care with real depth, not a wellness checklist.
Accredited Practising Dietitian
Fully registered with Dietitians Australia. Medicare-rebatable consultations available under a GP Management Plan or Team Care Arrangement.
Health Coach
Certified through HCANZA. Behaviour change, motivation, and building habits that last β because knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.
HTMA Practitioner
Certified through InterClinical Laboratories in Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, a functional testing tool that can reveal what standard blood panels often miss.
The things I believe in deeply
These shape every consult, every recommendation, and every conversation I have with clients.
You're not imagining it
If something feels off, I take that seriously. I start every consult from a place of belief. Your symptoms are real, they have causes, and they're worth investigating properly.
Common isn't the same as normal
Bloating every day, energy crashes by 3pm, periods that derail your week. These might be common, but they're not something you just have to put up with.
Evidence first, trends never
There's a lot of noise out there. Every recommendation I make is grounded in evidence and specific to you, not whatever's circulating on wellness TikTok this week.
Practical beats perfect, every time
A plan that fits your actual life will always outperform a "perfect" plan you can't sustain. I meal prep on Sundays and I also eat toast for dinner sometimes. Both things are true.
Nutrition that looks at the whole picture
I don't do generic plans. Every initial consult starts with a thorough look at your full health history, your symptoms, your lifestyle, and your goals. Because two people with the same diagnosis can need very different things.
When standard pathology isn't giving us the full picture, I use functional testing like HTMA alongside conventional bloodwork. The kind of investigation that goes beyond "your results are normal," which, if you've been told that while still feeling terrible, you'll know doesn't always mean much.
- Full health and symptom history in every initial consult
- Pathology review and functional testing interpretation including HTMA
- Practical, flexible nutrition strategies built around your real life
- Ongoing support and plan adjustments as things shift
- No judgment, just straightforward, evidence-based care
